Stuffed paprika

A colourful and delightful dish.

Paprikas

Ingredients

  • 10 paprikas, any colour
  • 500 gr mixed pork and beed mince
  • 150 gr rice
  • 1 onion
  • 2 carrots
  • 400 ml tomato paste
  • 3 tomatoes
  • oil
  • Parsley (or dill or both)
  • Paprika/chilly powder

Preparation

Clean paprikas of stem and seeds.

Fry small pieces of onions and carrots. When they change colour, add pasrley/dill, 2 tomatoes and rice. Cover with water and 1/3 tomato paste.

When the rice is done, mix in the meat, salt, pepper and paprika/chilly powder.

Stuff the paprikas, cover with tomato and add water and remaining tomato paste outside.

Boil or put in the over for 30-40 min.

You can serve with yogurt.
